Salvation

Salvation

A Poem by EternityWolf101
"

This came out of my mind after I bought a very good looking pen.

"
My mind feels like an empty carcass of nonsense
Fed daily to a man with no face and his pet eagle
A roaring fire cries by my side
A slow pack of lifeless embers rest beneath its parent
The child of inexorable emotions

There's nothing left to follow
No guiding raven with white wings
Or black eyes to help see
The black abyss is demanding
Its voice overrated

The monster's heart beats slowly
A mindless killing machine awaits
Jaws slobbering over fresh meat
Hands dying to rip open the heart of victims
And drink from the red goblet

It's over
Destruction has won the war
My heart is still beating
My hands still tremble
My heart slowly beats

Intriguing poem. I admit the subject sways away from the title by quite a bit but it's still very good! Good work!!

Like the third stanza best; it pretty much stands on its own.
Lots of good raw material, here.
Mine it, Wolf!
