Answer Me

Answer Me

A Poem by Eternal Thought

Father God!

Will I die?

Are you going anywhere?

How should I live?

Do you even care?

Are you blind?

Can you see?

Well if so!

Please answer me!!!!

Well written indeed. The questions are very simple yet, emotional. Good work.

Very pertinent questions. All of which are answered in His word if one cares to dig them out. Brandon points out that he felt he did not get answers to his questions but I am wondering how active he was in searching them out. God gave us intelligence, His word and even allowed his son to sacrifice himself for us. Surely it is not too much to ask for us to do a little work to find the answers in His word?

An interesting poem that demonstrates power with such few words. It reminds me of a time when I was a Christian, and I would ask God for answers. Most of them never came, and this poem reflects off of that experience. The rage within the structure of the poem is amazing. I think you did a terrific job here.
