The Old Book

The Old Book

A Poem by Deepa

A bittersweet moment,
Saying Goodbye
To the most closely coincidental friendship ever.
feeling the,
Most happily saddest moment.
Where I could cherish the sweetest memories
and a single thought of loosing you forever wraps my smiley face up.
Like the old book,
Your existence will always be precious in my heart.
Like the sweet smell of the pages,
Will be linger in memories,
all the moments spent together.
Older the pages get, deeper the smell.
That one giggle will always be there,
To remind me of you.
Those pamper and fights
Will bring a smile with teary eyes.
Taking all these as gift,
I'm closing my old book
Leaving a message behind
That,
You were always the special one.
my dearest!
