I remember the days that would last forever
did I think they would end? no, not ever,
those moments with you I thought would last
little did I know, of the time called past.

I remember the days of laughter and Joy
the sparkle of life within your eye,
you filled my heart with so much pleasure
little did I know, of memories treasure.

Each time you placed your tender kiss
the skip of my heart a beat it would miss,
your sweetness of magic on my lips went by
never did I think, they would thirst then dry.

Living my life in loss and pain
the love I had, now none to drain,
alone and with grief in tears they show
how quick there sorrow, I have come to know.
