The Wind

The Wind

A Poem by Eternal Poet
"

An invisible force

"
I am across the sea and over the land
from coast to coast I cover like sand,
I am all over, never in one place
from here on earth, to the edge of space.

The leaves I rustle with a gentle breeze
though life itself, I can even freeze,
and with such a force I can destruct
whatever mankind, cares to construct.

watch as I strike without instant warning
as I deliver you grief, you people in mourning,
I have no eyes nor ears to listen
to pleas from a people, in tears that glisten.

There loved ones lost to a force unseen
as I take away what once had been,
you search afar, but me you won't find
I am the wind, to me your blind.
