Misty WindowA Poem by Eternal PoetSky fades grey clouds hang low rain runs down a misty window, snow now sleet upon the sill drip drip drip, water spill, The cusp of spring breaking ground sprouting shoots, without a sound, soon to flare colours bright from dark blood red, to feather white. As night recedes kissed by dawn like golden nuggets, stand ears of corn, beneath the armada of floating clouds lie scattered shadows, speckled shrouds. Summer scent now fills the air as pollen unfurls, for bees to share, gone, are traces of winters snow as sun breaks through, my misty window.
