UntitledA Story by Gio S.P.He held her there and she held her breath. For a minute, it seemed as though the vast universe had come to a halt. And in that moment, he saw cupped between his hands, the face of a woman so intricate, so delicate; weaved with such intensity and vibrancy that life itself would stare in awe at the work it had done. And he said: "Autumn, before I met you, I was a star; burning out and dying. I was just this fixed, luminous point in the sky and felt as though I had no work left to be done; no meaning. And then you appeared. Gravity had pulled you to me and I was amazed. I had searched for so long the light years of stars, hoping that I would find my equal, and you were right beside me the entire time. We touched and before I knew it, we were intertwining with such iridescent ferocity. And then we were one, forever connected into a perfect, stellar fusion. I will always love you because you drove into me and created an us. And that is why our love is so beautiful. It’s because there will always be an us and as we burn out, we burn out together. © 2014 Gio S.P.Author's Note
