just wrote it in thirty seconds. woo woo!

i think of all that i've lost.

i think of all that i've gained.

i think of every up and down,

every side-tracked day.

i think of all that i've said,

and then done the opposite.

i think of every irony

i've had the pleasure to see.

and then i raise my glass

and toast to company.

i toast the friends i have,

even the enemies.

and then i turn to you

and look into your haze,

and say, to hell with hate,

i'm gonna love today

This was brilliant.. captures the essence of embrace your enemy. No joy can be found in Hate.. hate is consuming.. to let an enemy consume you is to truly let your enemy hit home hardest! Love the flow, rhythm, rhyme and message contained here.. uplifting and inspiring.. would be nice if others took stock in words like this!
