"

its just a bunch of stuff that came out this morning.

"

oh, how i wish i could shut up like a telescope.
i think i can, i think i can, i know i could.

you're a walking contradiction.
the new face of humiliation.
embarrassment would feel ashamed
to say that you feel this way.
you're the barrel of a smoking gun,
the one you used to take me down.
the poison at the tip of my tongue,
the one that knocked me out.

is it lonely up there, all alone on your pedestal?
high above the rest of us, you've placed yourself.

it's not the way i imagined this,
but going down in flames is
a sure fire way to get known.
one day i'll be that name you drop,
yeah, i'll be the one who's famous.
when that day comes, a curse on your lips
so you won't dare to whisper it.

A nice flow of thoughts in the poem. You went to many places and open the door to many questions. I don't like being put above others. Better to be a observer and enjoy life without concern for maintaining status and control. I did like the ending. Blind people to other people dreams do not see the dreams of a another. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
