Chapter 11

Lights came on, it was a mostly plain room, expect thousands of sharp metal spikes on all the walls.

“Beep”

The walls started slowly closing in.

Kate looked up “we could try to climb to that trap door, can you give me a boost?”

Jake lifted her, her hands barley missing it, as the room got smaller and smaller. Jake tried to get her as high as he could, but they were struggling, big time. He didn’t know what was going happen, and then suddenly something clicked again. He suddenly found this strength, he threw Kate up, and she grabbed on and crawled out then held her hands out. The spikes were closing in, but Jake, this Jake wasn’t scared. He jumped on one the spikes and climbed to top and grabbed Kate’s hands and lifted himself to the hard floor.

The two felt finally safe, for a second.

“Hey kiddies, need a night light” The turned to see Esmeralda, 20 feet away hanging from the ceiling, in the condor of Jake’s eye, he saw Ivan and Nicky getting ready to run for it.

“Go get them, I’ll take care of her” Kate whispered.

Kate stepped up towards her, Kate lowed her body reaching for her tazer gun in her sock. Esmeralda laughed. Kate took a shot. She missed an inch away from her head. Esmeralda’s mouth dropped, then quickly recovered and shot her gun.

Kate dodged.

So begin the battle of shots.
