Where I Belong

Where I Belong

A Poem by Esther Lynn

I am as strong as an oak tree, towering as high as a sycamore.

My heart grows wildflowers, and my soul is bursting full of rays of sunshine.

The wind curls my hair and the earth softens my hands.

Rushing waterfalls flow past my lips,

While quiet rivers stream down my spine.

I sing the serene song of the birds,

Yet I am as wild as the wolves.

My barefeet dance amongst the weeds and leaves.

The mountains teach me.

The valleys look after me.

The forest calls me one of its own.

I am a child of the wilderness.

I am one with nature.

We're all one with nature. I love the journey you took me on whether it was through the woods, in the mountains or by a quiet stream. For a short instant I was everywhere.. There are lots of colors on your canvas and much beauty :)
