With my confusion

With my confusion

A Poem by Esther:)

That gentle breeze on a summer night
You are to me in this moment
But in morning light you fade away
And I’m left to dance with my confusion

A whispered answer you are to my heart
But it can’t hear you in its shattered form
So you slip through my desperate fingertips
And I’m left to dance with my confusion

You are the four leaf clover I thought I found
But I didn’t, so you wait for someone to pick you from the earth
While I look for connection through my tiny phone screen
And dance around with my confusion
