A little chilled.

A little chilled.

A Poem by Kalex Cross

Silver shears clip my heart into thousands of pieces;
And they begin
dripping a blueish pale taint onto moist dark earth.
Fertilizing the memories until a terrible cold blooms.
Falling.
They freeze mid-air, these droplets of pearly glow.
A seed of mans desire, from my present case,
reminding my hollow eyes of what can be.
And all that I have burned from my soul.
