Don’t expect too much, it’s simply an assemblage. Like the good doctor’s “Bicycle Ride;” a choppy Delysid slide. Taking Thought-Shots Like that, right there: greasy, f****n’ knots in your hair. Like that, yeah there: greazy, f*****g knots in your hair. Like that, like- Shut the f**k up, s**t. I had the hiccups from when I sat up after drinking outta my sippy cup. Trapped air and bad luck Don’t expect too much There’s a dock on a loch that gets drops of flowing stones, like they’re ready-to-rock. Tourists get a shock. Zzzzzt! Bzzzzt!! Whichever one more readily conveys the feeling of being shocked. Brings tears to your eyes, like Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Even re-runs get you sobbing. And the sobbing, of course, involves drops. Such as the ones mentioned earlier. In other words: RE-RUN TEARS Wet things we shouldn’t care about It’s simply an assemblage A phantom poem Formulation of processed thoughts A box of think-me-nots Shots of Thoughts (think + ing + the ink) Barely found the Journey Greatest Hits CD at TARGET. Zit-faced teen got it for me I just kept believing. It’s a mess, like the ground after my wife cuts my hair. I swept up a giant ball. Voodoo Jackpot But who’d wanna control me? Their loss either way Hey Still not making sense Thinking: “Why the hell did he write that?” But then there’s a hand that turns a handle of a door, that leads down some stairs, into a basement, which leads to a hall, that leads to another door, which leads to a room, with a chair. which is the spot where you sit and read this. Which leads you to turn off the light. Which leads you to lay down in bed. Which leads you to get up again, because you forgot to brush your teeth. Which leads you back to bed, where you lay awake. Which leads to you thinking: “Why the hell did I read that?”
