Our Final Moments

The final moments of our life.

Our Final Moments

Any living thing will not last in today's Earth,

not the trees,

the grass,

the animals or the humans,

We all wilt away,

back in the Earth's soil,

where new life begins.

When we wilt away,

the truth could scare us,

we will always be alone,

in silent in our final moments.

Powerful like a few other pieces I have read. Short, but nicely done.

Our final moments are not always silent and lonely, although this piece could argure the other opinion very well. Every living thing is meant to die and be returned to the Earth through natural decomposition and rot or by way of ashes. Nothing that is born will never die, though. There is no such thing as immortality and the very idea is a thing of fantasies and the imagination as well in children's hopes.

Beautiful, bravo!
