Drifting awayA Poem by SammyThis is the first poem I wrote when I was 14. I was told my grandad had cancer and he didn't know that I knew and my only escape was poetry.
Wearing away with no one to help him stay,
Times are hard and he sometimes says "Hope you have a good year" As if he's not going to be here. I keep looking watching him wearing away, Skinnier and bonnier each and every day. And who is this person you may say A person I love too much to let drift away. © 2016 SammyFeatured Review
