Being there

This is a poem I've written recently for a friend who's had some bad family news.

It's hard to hear of sadness
When you can't be there to touch,
It's hard to hear your doubts
But never give up.
It's hard to not hug you any chance
That you feel low,
It's hard that you've got to deal with this
It's such a s****y blow.

I know that times unknown
And your uncertain of things to come,
But all you have to do
Is think of the family love.

When being strong no longer helps
Don't be afraid to crumble,
It helps a lot to let things out
Your not alone in a world full of doubt.

The times are tough and I'm sure you feel fine,
It's when your lonely on a cold summer night,
I'll be there for whatever you need, a hug, a smile
Or a laugh to hide the pain away,
Things will seem heavy just hope for a brighter day.

Fantastic Poem !!!

Truly inspiring and it feels like it is written from the heart.

"Your not alone in a world full of doubt." This line blew my mind. So true, yet so unacknowledged in the world around us.
Hope people would be more open about their feelings and leave their ego behind. We need more feminism in this world
