To The GroundA Poem by AndreaA cremation to a beautiful truth
The brilliant taste of afternoon
still lingers between my lips. I love the way the sun did shine and reflect off your delicate eyes. A peaceful birth, blooming like a flower and love did fall like a feather to the ground. Doves flew above our heads. Faithful innocence painted the sky with clouds. I will remember that day and cherish it's every moment. I will always love you and the place that we once met: glistening windows and elevating joyfulness, home to a very happy haze. I revisit this place, hoping to revisit your face but find dread and a miserable longing. I will always remember you fondly, but I wouldn't mind watching this place burn to the ground © 2012 AndreaAuthor's Note
