They started a pact
of only the best of intentions
and ended up with a series
of bad ideas.

A celebration for two
turns into a party of one.
She is alone with her journal
filled with love notes
and epic little nothings.

Grasp the idea
of being in love.
Inhale.
Slowly exhale.
Let go of who you were
and say I love you.
Let's leave the girl
with bliss filled tears.
Let's leave the boy
with a childish grin.

She was going to write a novel
of them.
One romantic,
one dangerously real,
but he took with him
her heart and pen.
Now there is nothing left
for her to write with.
Their story will never
be told.

Grasp the idea
of hanging over a cliff.
Inhale.
Slowly exhale
and let go of your fears.
Let's leave our story
without a conclusion
and leave our characters
without a simple goodbye....
