Control

Control

A Poem by Andrea
"

I am losing it

"
I wear my head on my sleeve
and keep my heart in the clouds.
High on rage and utter delight
and I don't even miss the ground.

Pretty images dance across
these walls so padded and plain.
I know I will cry, I know I'll rejoice
if I never see him again.

A gnawing urge corrupts my jaw.
I bite my pen until I bleed.
Ink sinks into my tongue, I taste the poison,
but it is the inspiration that I need.

I'll write my secrets across my face.
I will sell to you my soul.
So if I die tonight, you will know
that I've lost all self control.

The imagery is wow...I'm speechless.

The first verse is just brilliant. Love your word play that adds so much depth to this, as the topic rightly deserves.I'll shut up now.
