But What Does It All Mean?A Poem by AndreaCurious?
A moment of truth, is a moment for life.
Lies cut you up like a jagged kitchen knife. Paint a pretty picture of the mess you have made. The smiles that you fake as you misbehave. Nothing really matters at the age of fifteen. Grandfather clocks sing of the hours. Curtains graced with dying flowers. A household run by prosperity and dread. Secrets hidden in the young couples bed. Scrape dirt off what you thought to be clean. Some have died, others are born today. Perhaps the sky shall shine blue, or maybe pale grey. If there is a rhyme, there must always be reason. Wearing a smile across your face is so last season. But what does it all mean? © 2012 AndreaAuthor's Note
