Like Diamonds

A Poem by Andrea
"

an acrostic

"
Love leaves much room for heartache and flaws, but
I think I can adore you, just for today.
Know that every smile you flash reminds me of crystals.
Every moment with you shines like diamonds.

Doesn't really matter if seasons come and go.
I can handle change, I can learn to
Accept another day passing me by.
Measuring time isn't necessary anymore. You
Opened your arms, and there I shall stay.
Nothing can manage to pull me away.
Diamonds are indestructible, diamonds are beautiful
So lets turn this attraction into diamonds.

I love the comparison to being a diamond. If you truly love someone why not make it indestructible as something you would buy to show affection. It was a very enjoyable read looking forward to reading more from you!

Beautifully done. Is that a hint? :-)
Andrea looking for some going :-)
Nicely constructed to turn it into relationship from what I first thought was the actual diamond. Excellent .
