Tonight

Tonight

A Poem by Andrea
"

Being a woman doesn't mean you need a man to be happy

"
Tonight I am gonna wear my own jeans
they look better with these leopard heels.

Tonight I am gonna look like sex
with my makeup bag, in the bathroom mirror.

Tonight I am gonna sit at home
and watch the movies that I want,

with my hair all done
I don't need to go out.

I'll eat chocolate, sip coffee.
I'll be a woman,
happy,
and not in love

tonight.

Hmm, would I be correct in thinking this is a subtle, yet evocative piece aimed at the disappointment you feel at the plight of the Peruvian makawaka Hill people in their daily struggle to survive in such an inhospitable climate, or did a guy piss you off? :-)
You just be you and you'll be fine.
Oh, love it btw. Can I get some chocolate?

This seems to be about either lonliness or contentment. I'm going to opt for reading it as a healthy slice of contentment. Nice Piece.

This one reached THAT place where the noseprints begin to collect.

Yes, where those jeans as I do not think I could fit into them. :) One a real note, there is nothing more beautiful than a happy women looking like self as sex appeal watches movies while eating chocolate. I mean you could add cheese, wine, and a man but a true happy women do not always need those things. This is a fun write.

I think you are the first to write
a very important piece.
You have written about what every
woman must want at some time , to be
allowed to have what she wants.
Great and brilliant writing .
