Some September

A Poem by Andrea
"

Another moment gone by

"
People like you
don't have a name.
You wear a mask,
but i love you all the same.

The city lights dim
and fall to the sky,
like fire, like smoke
when i tell you goodbye.

Such a heartache to hold.
Such a tragedy to see.
Can you read it in my eyes?
They beg you, please, never leave.

Come and stay for a while.
Together is so much better than alone,
But you've packed up your things
and you're headed back home.

I think it is perfect.
It is a little hard for me to understand
but I think you are saying that the man
you have loved does not love you back.
It is hard to understand why, because
he does not commit himself.
Very well written.
