Like RabbitsA Poem by AndreaComparisons to rabbitsPulled out of a hat Like a name in a raffle. When your name gets called You feel so awed by the headlights: The bright beaming spotlight.
In your head lies a hole You can try to find an exit, but you really can’t tell how deep your thoughts go. But deep inside your mind, you know lies a Wonderland.
Leaving imprints All through your life Like tiny foot prints in the ever falling snow. Eventually your tracks will be covered, but right now they look so beautiful and graced.
You fall in love. Your dreams and inspirations Multiply. Express your love rapidly And forget to cherish the moment. You are than left with nothing but a thousand tiny memories.
As you grow, so do your senses and you become too aware of all that goes on in your world. Some days the noises are too much to handle. You wish you could bite your ears off as if they were made of chocolate. © 2012 AndreaAuthor's Note
