Goodbye, My Dear Short-Term Friend [Part I]
-Epilogue ErrSix

Its almost a month or two since you and I had met;
And it was a tragic one for me because I got a split purpose.
It's not actually about you and your friends why I am kneeling with a pose;
The thing I asked you in the past, is the thing I called: a secret.

Secret in the sense that the word will protect you;
You already knew my name, and I alreadt knew yours.
First days of talking to you is somehow serious;
Because I thought that you are also in that way, maybe it's true.

Yes, I admit, that I treated you as a last friend of mine here on Earth;
Because I felt this strange aura, your supportive prescence;
It makes my works, my words, my songs, and my poems full of essence.
Your short-term prescence makes me happy, also for a short time.

Tomorrow will be the saddest chapter of my life: The Goodbye.
I wanted to extend my days here but nothing happened, no matter how hard I try.

Goodbye, my dear short-term friend,
I will leave the place where we've met, talked, and knew each other;
I already loved you by that time, I don't know if you'll accept it,
I will leave this message to you so you could always remember...

...That I will be always by your side;
Even though I'll leave this spot...
And will also remember that,
I gave you my love that I never gave to anyone in the past.

A pretty good epic poem, it expresses the inner dialogue, that brings us to a conclusion - we are what we create, and we can't change it. I feel that there isn't a chance to say goodbye eternaly.
But - the second stanza seems unnecessary.

Our memory never lets enything go... The fifth stanza has the purest reflections. Captivating.
Thank you!
