End Of Fight

Third poem, I wrote it for a literary page on our school paper. Enjoy.

 

End of Fight

-Epilogue ErrSix

 

I saw the past and endless cries of desperation

I saw them, begging me to become the nation’s inspiration

I took the deal hoping to help the people in need

My new mission is to let them cross the seas of human greed

 

I helped them cross the seas and showed to them the meaning of peace

I told them, “Peace is something good; like the scent of morning breeze”

They are convinced to build the new nation out of dust

They promise not to be brainwashed by greed, temptation and lust

 

We started the new nation, over the dawn of a new world

Everyone’s happy: from children, to the elders, Good Lord!

I released a dove holding the famous olive leaf.

The End of Fight! The people will no longer hide in grief!
