I

I

A Poem by ErosNthanatos

I fell
I fell and though I held on
I fell
And broken I found myself

I found myself
Holding on
By the skin and nails of my being
I found myself

Holding on
Foolishly I still do
Holding on
On thread like ropes

I foolishly
deny what's true

that I eventually

succumb to the truth.

Through the pain... the stumbling and falling and bruising... there is such a sense of fierceness here... of fighting to face the world.. and in so doing, to discover who you are. Yet there are times when wisdom whispers to let go... and fall into that darkness... not knowing where you will land... or how hard it may hurt. Such a powerful glimpse inside you.
