Voices

Voices

A Poem by ErosNthanatos

Pen and paper be my voice

Relate my relay to those who are bothered

In an ancient cuneiform on papyrus or stone

Colorful graffiti of my sentiments on display

Tired of hearing too many voices

And fighting for my own to be heard

In a sea of confusion and tension

I prefer to swim ashore to solid ground

There is both storm and tranquility drifting through your thoughts.. the longing to be heard above the roar of waves and wildness. And personally, I believe your poetic voice is as beautiful as any birdsong.

You flatter me thank you.
So many of us speak but our voices are unheard for it is only echoing within our soul's walls. The cries of lost childhoods, love's and even age or success can't be heard by others . But we have to learn to adapt to every situation and take the path of least resistance for in our meditation on life our river will run back to the source and we get strength and might to continue our swim across. Well said and purveyed...:)
