A Poem by ErosNthanatos

Stay a while
Is that too much?
Though I'm not the type
To ever ask nor impose

Relax a while
Right here come closer
Rest your worries upon me
As you close your eyes and dream

Be with me for a while
Forget the presents and accounts
That Tomorrow dictates you
To leave and follow

Not a plea nor begging to be
Don't you see I just want you near?
No locks nor chains
My Dear just simply stay

There is sweet perfection in a lover's presence.. when the world melts away and all that remains is that dreamish moment of ecstasy.. an exquisite freedom, breath on breath.. just being.

Yes, no world but two souls revolving in the universe.
A song says Stay with me, don't you love me? Hold my hand for a while, just for one more day, without having to wait tomorrow...Your poem reminded me of that. And I liked it because I also would express myself with the same words if I needed someone near.
