My Last Prayer

My Last Prayer

A Poem by Erjon Mann
"

This poem is about losing faith in Religion Keep in mind when reading this poem the story of the old covenant Moses talked to God and asked, what his name meant,God answered "He Who Is and will Be"

"
"My Last Prayer"
You Are "what it Is"
"Him whom must Be"
And I don't know you
Although I know you more
Than must people I knew
I  fear the most
that you in your own
Never Knew me!
Perhaps don't you know
You "who ARE"
That I AM...
Perhaps You don't know
That I must be known
From You "God  of Love"
That don't love me
At least not from now on
Others recognized from you
Have turned into you
But I like to be who I am
But still it doesn't matter
After all for You I am not
Your garden of  pretty flowers
Whom those memories were
The flowers now are withered
With them even those memories
I'm sorry I don't feel the flavor anymore

Very nyc poem. Though, I am certainly one of the least religious person, I clearly get the message. The language is simple yet the message is concrete. Pen on more like this..
