Holding Out

just someting I wrote

I look around
for something for my hands to do
but there is nothing
only nothing

I look to the clock
to find the time is still the same
cause time is frozen
just frozen

 

and its all the same
the sun rises then it sets
and its just a game
so just place all your bets

casue I am stuck here
not moving anywhere
just holding out for light

hold out for me

 

I see darkness
even when all the lights are on
there's so much evil
such evil

I see so much pain
through every strangers smile
cause we're all dying
we're dying

it gets louder with each flash
