dont worry, your in my heart

dont worry, your in my heart

A Poem by Erin
"

this was written about my ex boyfriend

"

I am trapped in this room

Yet I’ve found a way out

Barricaded by these four red walls that remind me

It is filled up with memories

This is why I must stay

I was placed in dead center

Feeding off of the leftover scraps

I have dug a deep hole and let my feet s w i n g

Feeling what could be

It seems better on the other side

No walls to hold me back

I turn and see what I’m leaving behind

A feeling of guilt washes over me

If I leave, this room will break

Then there will be nothing left

I am the glue holding it together

Is this risk worth taking to set myself free?
