Won't You Come Back?

Won't You Come Back?

A Poem by Erin Austen
"

Being left behind hurts...

"

I was just stomped upon,

By your words,

Is is this truly how you feel,

Do I not seem to feel the same as you,

For I tell you whole heartedly I do,

I did feel for you,

What is this feeling that I have,

This ripping sensation,

Right through my heart it seems to be,

Could it be,

That what I am feeling is pure rejection,

How can this be,

Did I hurt you,

For if I did I apologize,

Won’t you come back…

I do need you…

To survive in a heartless jungle of a world.
