I Love You

This is written about a special girl in my life.

I wish I could find the words to tell you how beautiful and perfect you are.
Words that when I say them would instantly melt your heart.
From the first time I saw you you took my breath away.
Without even knowing it you captured my heart as if it was your prey.
I never thought I could become so close to someone so fast.
It seemed like we had known each other forever; like you were a part of my past.
The more I talk to you the harder it becomes to say goodbye.
I'm always scared that I might be saying it for the last time.
I just can't get you off my mind.
I think about the next time I'll get to see those beautiful bright blue eyes.
Or make you laugh just to see that spectacular smile.
Just seeing it once makes all the cheesy jokes worthwhile.
You gave me a glimpse into your past and told me about your broken dreams.
Your past may seem ugly to you, but it made you who you are so it's beautiful to me.
Oh how I wish I could give you my eyes for just one day.
So that you could see that even with your flaws to me you are still perfect in every way.
This road isn't going to be easy, especially with us in charge.
We have to learn to let go and let God.
We need to be smart.
We have to keep God on the throne of our hearts.
I hope you realize now that I'm just as stubborn as you.
Giving up and not fighting for you is something that I will never do.
Because I love you.
