Would You?A Poem by EricaA simple little love poem.If I held out my hand, and sung out your name, would your feet dance to me, so we could dance in purple rain?
Would you spin with me, until we collapsed, In the field with the lonely tree, where the bunnies play in trash scraps?
Would you care, that sometimes, I get a little crazy? That my hold on reality gets hazy? That sometimes, all I want is to sit and laugh in feild overflowing with daisies?
Would you sing with me, in perfect harmony? Allow Our souls and hearts to blend into one and sometimes bask, with me, in the warmth of the sun?
Would you hold my hand, and try to teach me that love isn't something that's meant to come easy?
Would we play, like young hearts but have much more meaningful things to say?
And when we ran out of words, would you feel at ease? Would you understand that I don't always need your words to be pleased?
Because I just need you there, sitting next to me. Growing old on the colonial porch as we drink Ice tea. Hold my hand, kiss my cheek? Prove that love is something we, too, can keep? © 2010 EricaReviews
