A Poem by Erica

She cries out as his fist hits her face. Not the first time. SHe begs for forgiveness, and promises to never let it happen again. He grips her hair tight and pulls up hard. She screams out, his foot comes down hard on her hand. Breaking it, the pain was like fire burning through her body. Bruises, cuts all over her. Something was wrong, she knew it, all she could do was beg for forgiveness, and for one day, just once day for it to go to far.
