"Sanctuary"A Poem by EricGodsilEveryone needs a safe place.
Your body is my temple,
Stain glass eyes, My savior on the other side, Forgive me for I have sinned, I lied when I said, I would never love again. Words you whisper at night, the scripture of my heart, Preaching to my soul, Sing angel, Softly towards the stars. Be my north star, Guide me to your love, Exuding elegance, Divinity surrounded by a state of decay, My sistine chapel, Vibrant in this cesspool of a society. Swing low With your hips, Chariot to heaven, Let me kneel So i may repent, Sins of the flesh. Turn my tears of despair Into the whines of laughter, So i may see through cleansed eyes, Onto our world... © 2014 EricGodsilAuthor's Note
