Glorious Rambo

Glorious Rambo

A Poem by Leumas Relwood
"

The Rambonian National Anthem

"

What hales over that far dale,

As the Sun rising without fail?

Is it God’s angel from Heaven’s lair?

Or an Elven King who is always fare?

Do not skew your eyes’ perception,

Lest you miss the incarnation!

He has done many very great things,

He is Rambo, our lord: King of Kings!

Though Leaders of old may have squandered,

Their people, forsaken, were wandered,

Our kind Caesar Rambo is near,

Stay close to him, have no fear.

When enemies near on our lands,

With arrows and swords in their hands,

We have one hope to survive:

Our glorious King Rambo’s alive!

There is not in all existence

A wellspring of such sustenance.

Waters of prosperity flow,

With no cause ever to slow.

The thirsty, the tired, the poor,

They come to him, whom none abhor.

When fear strikes you heart, always know:

Nothing can stop our Rambo.
