New Comers

"Hey! Hope!" Lakye screamed for her. Hope turned around and saw that Lakye was holding some fishes on a rope tied around his neck. 

"Oh wow, that's a lot, how much did you get?" Hope asked with a surprised face.

"1 dozen and a half" he gave her a smirk, and walked towards her. Hope had the fire starting and the heat warmed them up, the sun was setting and the sky was a dark purple with orange and pink. 

"Hope" someone came running to them, Hope turned around and saw a boy with black hair with round glasses. "I couldn't find what you were looking for, but this isn't a desert or anywhere near city. This is a island that isn't on the map yet" Devon sat next to them. He drew a map down on the sand and drew a map, this is the two big island that is building up, but it is very well known. Also..." 

"Devon, stop, please... my ears are starting to die, because of your knowledge of this world" Hope took the fishes from Lakye and walked to the water. "I don't get it, how come you know that this island is unknown?" She keeled onto the floor, and start to take the fishes off of the rope. 

"Well, It's simple, with the calculation of how fast we were going from where we started and the time we spent on the plane, tells me exactly where we are, maybe a couple miles off but we are around the area I showed you." He stood behind her.

"Devon, I'm a slow person, I wont be able to catch up if you keep talking like a geek" She washed the fish with the salt water, Devon sighs. 

"Math Hope, Math." Devon sat next to her. 

After Hope finished washing the fishes, she brought it to where the fire were and pierced the fishes with a long sharp stick, then placed it over the fire for it to cook. A while passed and the fishes were now cooked, someone came running to them and was smiling. A young girl named Lisa was only 10, but she was smart like Devon, but not as smart. "Hope! Lakye! Devon! I got something, come!" Lisa waved her hand around to show them where she were. They all left their fishes by the fire for it to stay warm. "Over here!" Lisa grabbed Hope's hand. A couple steps into the forest and there was something black on the ground,

"Lisa, what did you want to show us?" Hope pulled herself back.

"Just look" Lisa pulled Hope's arm. "There!" She smiled. 

"Lisa....did you..." Lakye was surprised. There was a wild bore laying on the floor, dead. It had a spear on it's neck and it was just laying on the floor, but it was dead. There was only a single wound on the bore and it was by it's neck. 

"Lisa, did you, do this??" Devon asked. She smiled and nodded her head, she reached for one of the bore's leg and tried to drag it. 

"A little help please??" Lisa gave a big smile "we get to eat some meat now!" We all carried the bore to the fire place where the fish was cooking. "Hope, can you cut it up so we can eat it?" she tried to make puppy eyes. 

"Sure Lisa" I laughed and took the bores leg, and sliced them up into small squares. We all placed them onto a stick and placed them over the fire to cook. After the bore was done cooking Lisa already finished her fish, she ate a lot for dinner that night and fell asleep right after. "Lisa is so small, i can't believe she lost her parents in the accident, I couldn't go 1 day without my parents, and it's already been a week since the plane crashed" Hope was trying to hold her tears back. 

"Hope, I'll try to figure out a way to build a boat or something and get us out of this island, with the help of the geek Devon" Lakye patted Hope on the back.
