I Know You

I Know You

A Poem by Elisa
"

Witnessing an argument of someone you love, but having to walk away without them noticing.

"

I Know You

What is it about you,

Making me insane?

Driving me

Past sanity’s cliff.

I know we have parted,

But I can’t stop.

You are the one"

Then one I need the most.

That twit you call yours

Is sand on my wounds.

I hear my heart leaping

As I smile back at your voice.

I know you still love me;

I see it in your eyes!

I hear your voice rising;

Your actions screaming desired distance

From that she-devil!

You can’t stand the conversation.

My love for you is everlasting,

But it is not my business

To intercede.

I walk away,

Feeling your tense emotions"

I want to go to you,

But instead I am angry,

FURIOUS,

That she could hurt you!

All of my writing is dark and I do not believe in writing "happy endings" because they sound pathetic to me. I also tend to make my writing gruesome, with death being a common factor. If you read th.. more..
