The Word

The Word

A Poem by Elisa
"

One word can have more of a story to it than you think. Here is what this word sometimes means when it comes from me.

"

Hi

Will you save me?

Will you join me in

Eternity?  Life is

Nothing,

Meaningless.

What is the purpose of breathing,

When I’m already

Rasping?

Will you come

To save me?

Can I count on your breath

In order to replenish my own?

The knife beacons;

Sleep calls me by name!

What makes

Life worth living?

And

Why is mine in

Absence…

Where is that love

Worth living for?

The dream has

Dissipated.

Welcome

To my Dream

Never After.

All of my writing is dark and I do not believe in writing "happy endings" because they sound pathetic to me. I also tend to make my writing gruesome, with death being a common factor. If you read th.. more..
