Los Angeles Angel's slugger, Shohei Ohtani had four RBIs in a 7-1 win over the Toronto Blue Jays last night.
At the top of the second inning, the Angels went ahead 1-0 when Jared Walsh scored on an error. Later in the inning, Ohtani hit a three run double to put L.A. up 4-0. At the top of the fifth inning, Ohtani put the Angels ahead 5-0 with a solo home run. Shohei Ohtani had four RBIs last night. Later in the inning, Walsh hit a two run homer. The Jays got their lone run in the bottom of the eighth inning when Marcus Semien scored on a wild pitch. Jay's manager, Charlie Montoyo said at last night's postgame press conference that his team is working hard, but are struggling to put their hard work into games. Angel's starting pitcher, Andrew Heany went six innings, allowing three hits, no earned runs, two walks, and struck out nine batters. Semien went two for five at the plate. Toronto's starting pitcher, David Phelps went an inning, allowing no hits, no earned runs, a walk, and struck out two batters. Game Three is tonight.
