The Toronto Maple Leafs got the job done last night as the team defeated the Calgary Flames 4-2.
Leaf's head coach, Sheldon Keefe, however, wasn't happy with his team's performance in the first two periods. Morgan Rielly put the Leafs ahead 1-0, scoring just 58 seconds into the game. Joakim Norstrom tied the game at 11:43 of the first period. Andrew Mangiapane scored at 19:20 to put the Flames ahead 2-1. Alex Galchenyuk tied the game at 17:08 of the second period with his first goal as a Leaf player. John Tavares put the Leafs ahead 3-2 at 6:55 of the third period. At 9:16, Auston Matthews scored his 25th goal of the season. Toronto's William Nylander had two assists. Toronto's goalie, Michael Hutchinson stopped 32 shots last night. Michael Hutchinson The Leafs play the flames again tonight.
