San Francisco eying McCutchen

The San Francisco Giant's priority this offseason is to upgrade their outfield, offensively and defensively.

It is no surprise that there's rumors out there suggesting that the Giants are reportedly seeking Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder, Andrew McCutchen.

USA Today's Bob Nightengale is reporting that the Giants are in discussions with the Pirates regarding the 31 year-old All Star.

McCutchen is owed $14.5 million in 2018 via a club option that the Pirates exercised last November.

McCutchen had a mediocre year in 2017.  He hit .279/.363/.486, had 28 home runs, the highest total since 2012.
