Yet, another team is eying free agent pitcher, Yu Darvish.

Apparently, the New York Yankees has thrown their hats into the Darvish sweepstakes

MLB Network's insider, Jon Heyman is reporting that the Yankees probably sign Darvish if the price is right.

The issue with the Yankees, though, is the team's $197 million luxury tax.

The luxury tax is probably going to make it hard for the Yankees to sign Darvish.

Darvish had a 3.86 earned run average, 209 strikeouts, playing for both the Texas Rangers and the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2017.

Other teams pursuing Darvish are: the Houston Astros, Chicago Cubs, and the Minnesota Twins.
