Warning

Warning

A Poem by Andrea Di Martino
"

For my wife.

"

Its midnight,

And I am awed

By the sleeping storm of you.

I wait all night,

Watching it gather in your face.

If they knew,

Cities would tremble,

Citizens panic and flee.

She is coming.

The water rises.

But always,

The sunlight dispels you.
