Cedar Coast

Cedar Coast

A Poem by Immoral Epidemik
"

A poem bizitch

"
It’s in the far north that you’ll find the Cedar Coast

Where the trees tear through the heavens in an eternal toast

Where lies the skeletons of a past no soul recollects

The remains of history vanish beneath the witch’s hex

Where rests the boy whose heart’s stitched upon his coat sleeve

Spending his nights in sorrow watching as his lovers leave

Where a prophet speaks out about a saviour in his dreams

Causing a cynic to rip apart these claims seam by seam

It is under the stars that wars are fought and killers compeat

Their bloodshed being hidden beneath a pearly white sheet

Where ghosts are brought back by the light of a new day

Their crimes long forgotten from the previous night's fray

Where the trees tear through the heavens in an eternal toast

It’s in the far north that you’ll find the Cedar Coast
