Chapter 124: The Information

Alex was waiting for them in his running car outside. Trevor put down his cell phone and climbed in. “Hi. I need you to call and pick up Simon.”

“Why are we on a mission.”
“Yes. It’s urgent. We have to go to hell and save Brittany. She’s being locked up in Belial’s residence.”

“I guess we’ll have to go then.”

“I’m going to go find Don. My master. He will know how to get there.”

“Okay. I’m on it. Pick up Simon. Comin’ up.”

“Will you take me down to the interstate bridge on your way there?” he asked. “Of course I will. Hold on. Let me reach him first.” Trevor sat there in the passenger seat while Alex made the call. He looked out at the cold November air, the first day of November. All of this had reached a pinnacle and getting Brittany back was the most daunting task. He couldn’t imagine what going further into the depths of hell would be. Bringing her back would require him to know exactly where Belial resides in hell, scoop her up, and escape exactly the way they came. Then Trevor came back to his senses. “Simon’s ready to be picked up.”

“Okay. Let him know that he’s coming with us to another world.”

“I will.” They drove down the bank that led to the overpass and Alex let him out. As Alex speeded away, he went to the edge of the overpass and looked down. Cars were screaming by on the interstate and he looked disheveled. Like he hadn’t gotten any sleep lately. He decided to summon him. “Don! Come forth!” There was nothing but still air. Trevor backed away from the edge. Preparing to walk away, a portal opened. A grayish mass of energy parted the air on front of him. He had to step up on the side-guards and jump through, but he was scared. It would look like he was committing suicide, but he didn’t care. He hopped up and took the plunge into uncharted territory. He could see the road fly by as he jumped purely on faith. That was it. He was in Origin, and he didn’t have to die to get there.

There was an ominous darkness in the space. Not Don, not anyone. No one appeared for seemingly fifteen seconds. “Hello, Trevor.” He spake. “Ah. Where’d you come from?” he looked at him after a minute of peering into dark space and gravitating toward him. “Where are you?”

“I’m right here.” He looked and finally saw him floating. “Hello Don. How’s it going.”

“Rather boring. I only answered your call because I was deathly bored.”

“Good to know. Are you adjusting well?”

“To life here? It’s better than nothing. Well, technically it is nothing.”

“Haha. Alright. Tell me what’s your secret?”

“I have my own powers. The same as you.”

“So you worked yourself on this place?”

            “More or less.”

“Okay then. I want you to tell me how to get into hell.”

“What do you want to go there for?”

            “I have to save someone.”

            “Someone’s been taken to hell?”

            “Yes. A girl named Brittany.”

“That’s not good. I could show you the way, but you’d never get back.”

            “Show me then.”

            “Are you sure?”

            “Yes. Deadly.”

“Okay. he put out his hand.” Nine drops of virgin’s blood into a fire should take you there.”

“Alright. Thank you.” He slowly drifted away from Trevor.”

“Oh, and call me Abbadon from now on.”

“Will do.” he said. Off he went. He reappeared right outside Jamie’s. Instead of going back inside he chose to call Alex and see what their status was. Whether they were on the way or not. The answer was yes.

He walked up to Jamie’s doorbell and knocked. Alan’s car was already here, so he took it as he was prepared to make the journey. Walking inside, he saw Alan standing in the doorway of the guest room, fixated on something contained within. Trevor heard a buzzing sound permeating through the walls. Trevor reached around and looked in. Jamie was playing around with a tattoo gun and rightfully so. He had artwork all drawn up and ready to go. The machine pulsated loudly and was a tad intimidating. Impressive as it was Trevor had to ask, “When’d you get that thing?”

“About a week after Nate’s shindig. I’m ready to lay down some ink.”

“We’ve got bigger fish to fry right now.”

“Right. Just wait till Alex gets back.”

“Alan are you all saddled up?”

            “For what?”

“You didn’t tell him?” He looked to Jamie. Jamie shrugged. “We’re going to hell to get a girl named Brittany back.”

“Can I have sex with her?”

            “Sure, if she wants to.”

“Alright!” he said wildly. The door was knocked upon. “Can you get that?” Jamie asked. Trevor obliged. Alex and Simon stood in the doorway. “Hey broski.” Alex said affectionately. Trevor gave Simon a hug. “Are you comin’ with us to hell?”

“No, no. I’m not going anywhere near that place.”

“Okay. So it’s you, David, Alan and me.” he pointed to Alex. They walked in and were greeted abruptly. “We need to make a fire outside.”

            “Why?”

“To form the gateway to hell.”

“I guess you can make it in the gravel in the driveway.”

“Okay. Sounds good.” Trevor was pondering what to do as he walked outside, where was he going to get virgin’s blood? He formed a pit with the rocks in the driveway. He gathered sticks in the back yard and brought them up. He laid them out accordingly and went to get some gasoline from the shed. The others joined him soon enough. “Well, that should about do it.” Jamie said. “Yeah, you two, you and Simon are birds of a feather.”

“Are we now?” he responded playfully. “Now all we need is virgin’s blood. I was thinking about having David call Tara, maybe she’s a virgin.”

            “Yeah, about that…”

“Oh. Ha. Sorry about that.” Simon raised his hand. “Actually, uhm, I’m a virgin.”

“Awesome. We need nine drops of your blood.”

“I’ll go get a knife.” Jamie offered. “Super.” Trevor began stoking the flame and when the knife arrived, not without some restraint, Simon cut open his arm and let nine neat drops go into the fire pit. Brown smoke began pouring out of the fire with a bloody tinge to it. All of a sudden it became so clear, a passage-way to the nether-world. Trevor ran in. So did Alan, then Alex, after that David. Back in the driveway, Simon and Jamie stared aghast at what took place. “Let’s go do you a tattoo.” Jamie suggested. “Alright.” Simon said, his mouth half-open.
