The CureA Chapter by Stephen CaldwellChapter 97: The Cure
Miraculously, Trevor wasn't so yellowish when he woke up. “I guess dying and coming back to life is the cure.” he thought, or, the orb actually did cure him through some means. Trevor slumped over on his bed and looked at David. “Dude! What's wrong with you? I thought I'd lost you!” “Nothing, I'm better now.” he said. “How!? Earlier I saw you. You looked like you had lost all life from your body.” “Don't worry about it. I know that I've been cured.” “Alright. If you say so.” he responded. Trevor was weary though, he couldn't really talk. “I just need a day’s rest. You can go on now. I'm okay, really.” “Okay. See you later man.” he left and Trevor fell back asleep. He had odd dreams of haunted houses, and malls, and giant living complexes. It was all too much for him. That was how he spent his day.© 2017 Stephen Caldwell |
